The hair grows an average of an inch every 4-6 weeks. Our clients often return for a retouch between 8-10 weeks.
Grey hair tends to show through color the fastest if there’s a noticeable contrast between the grey hair and hair color.
In this case, we recommend wearing a lighter color for lasting results. This will be discussed during the consultation.
What is the best way to care for colored hair?
Hair is somewhat like fabric. The best way to care for colored treated hair is to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Also rinse hair with the coolest water temperature you can handle.
What are some risks and side effects associated with a hair color?
Hair coloring is a safe service. However, sensitive skin patients should request a patch test before getting their hair colored. A patch test involves a dab of color on your neck and wrist. If there’s no allergic reaction, returning after 24 hours for a color service is safe.
